Early 1900's Charles Parker, Adjustable Piano Stool, Iron Claw and Glass Ball Feet
This is a fantastic, original Charles Parker, 4 Legged Adjustable Piano Stool, with Iron Claw and Glass Ball Feet. Seat height is adjustable from approximately 19" to 24". The iron bracket on the bottom of the seat is embossed "The Charles Parker Co. Meriden Conn.".
This stool is in nice condition, ready for daily use. Seat "adjusting screw" works with ease. Simply turn seat left or right, to raise or lower as desired. Wood has fantastic patina, with normal cosmetic wear and imperfections. A wonderful example of the design and craftsmanship from this time period. This is a very nice original stool. It is not perfect, but it is very nice.
Stool measures approximately 14-1/2" across at the seat, and the height is adjustable from 18" to 24".
