This is a fantastic, handmade, wooden step stool / footstool from the 1940's or 1950's. Made from rough sawn wood, stool has amazing patina with the old, original faded red paint. Sized perfectly to use as a display piece, small seat, or plant stand, and sturdy enough for every day use.
Stool is in good, solid condition, with fading and areas of paint loss. On the underside, there is a couple small pieces of wood that have split off where the top is fastened to the legs, with the original nails exposed. I decided not to remove the nails, since they have no impact on the appearance, or structural soundness of the stool. This is a good, solid stool, with the original patina.
Stool measures 13 1/2" long X 9" deep X 8 3/4" tall.
