1970’s Olympia SM8 Portable Manual Typewriter with the Original Owners Manual & Carrying Case
This is a very nice, 1970’s, Olympia SM8 Portable Manual Typewriter, with the original owners manual, brush cleaning kit, & carrying case. This typewriter was acquired from a family member, who was the original owner.
It is in very good, working condition. All of the keys work and return to the idle position. There are a few very minor cosmetic blemishes, but overall, this is a very nice machine.... The case is in good shape, with a good working latches, and a handle that is in tact, and free of cracks and other damage. There are a couple of blemishes on the case as shown in the photos. A new ribbon may need to be installed, and a good thorough cleaning and servicing is recommended, to achieve proper performance for daily use. I have also included a typing sample in the photos.
MEASUREMENTS: The overall measurements of the case are about 14 1/2" x 14 1/2" x 6 1/2",
