A 1937 Remington Rand 5 "Streamline" Portable Typewriter. This typewriter does work (see last photo), but does have some cosmetic wear and areas of paint loss. The keys, return, and other functions seam to work as they should, but a new ribbon should be installed to achieve the best results possible. Universal ribbon of like size will work in this machine. The case is in very rough shape, but I am including it, as it will help protect the typewriter during shipping.
A good cleaning and service would go a long way to making this machine suitable for daily use, and a fresh coat of paint would make it shine like new!
MEASUREMENTS: The overall measurements including the case are 13" x 13" x 6.5". The unit alone measures about 12.5" x 12.5" x 6" tall.
