Early 1900's Duncan Phyfe Drop Flap Convertible Coffee Table - Card Table. This amazing table features 2 drop flap leaves, and a center turn screw base, which allows it to be converted from a coffee table to a card table in just a few moments. As a coffee table, the drop leaves can be in either position. To use the table to play cards or to work on a puzzle, simply turn the table top counter clockwise until you reach the desired height, and pull the two flaps up, to increase the size of the table top.
Construction and characteristics of this beautiful table indicate that it is likely an original Duncan Phyfe piece.
All of the components of the table work as they should, and there is no structural damage, splits, cracks, etc. Some cosmetic finish wear is present, from normal wear and age.
MEASUREMENTS: Table measures 30" x 30" when in the open position, and 20" x 30" when closed for use as a coffee table. The height is adjustable from 19" to 29" Tall
