This is an early 1920s Kellogg 900 wooden case telephone subset, with a black bakelite telephone. The wooden case has the original maker's label on the outside, as well as the original paper schematics on the inside of the door. The black handset base has the Kellogg logo, and a metal plate displaying the "Masterphone" name. The wiring inside the wooden case appears to have been partially updated at some point. The dovetailed case is just beautiful, and is in very nice condition. There are no cracks, breaks, or other structural damage. The bakelite telephone has sustained heavy damage, as shown in the last two photos. This is a fantastic, original telephone set, that would make a wonderful addition to your collection, or to display.
The wooden case measures approx. 8" wide x 4-1/2" deep x 10" tall.
