1950's Shaw's Account Book No. S149, Accounting Ledger, Plumbing Contractor Ledger
An Original Hardcover Accounting Ledger from the 1950's. Made in the U.S.A. by Shaw's Pioneers Since 1831. Account Book Model S149.
Spine is marked "S149, J, 300". The ledger has double page forms with 27 lines and 8 columns on each page. Final page number is 300. Pages 9 through 22 are missing. The first 67 pages have entrees, as does pages 299 and 300. The remaining pages are blank. Also includes 2 original invoices which are recorded in the book.
This book was used to keep track of plumbing supplies and other receipts and expenses, for "Fry The Plumber", of Lancaster Pennsylvania.
Book measures approximately 8" wide x 9-3/4" long x 1" thick.
Ledger is in good shape. Binding is in good condition. Front and back covers are intact with minor wear to corners and ends. Book is written in and has some light stains/marks noted on some of the pages consistent with normal use.
