This is a Very Nice, Rare, Red Glass Parkesburg Table Lamp with a Marble Base. Parkesburg lamps were produced in Parkesburg, Pa. by Paul Thomas from 1936 to 1952, when the factory burned down , stopping any further production.
This wonderful lamp would be a perfect addition to your parlor or living room, as well as an office or bedroom. Accepts standard light bulbs up to 75 watts
The red glass body of the lamp measures 4 1/2" across, and the marble base measures 3-3/4" square. The overall height to the top of the finial is 22", and the height to the top of the bulb socket is 14".
This beautiful lamp is in nice condition, and in good working order. There are no cracks, chips or breaks noted. There is some relatively minor wear to the paint in several areas, mostly on the body of the lamp, as shown in pictures.
