This is a fantastic, original, cast iron balance scale, with, weights and the original scoop. This scale was likely used as a candy scale in a general store, or possibly as a hardware scale. It is sized perfectly to display, or it could be used daily as intended.
Measurements: The overall length of the scale is approx. 18" with the scoop in place. The round plate that holds the weights measure approx. 7" across. The height to the top of the scoop is approx. 9". The scoop measures 17" x 11".
Scale is in good solid condition, and works great! It has newer, with some light scuffs and scratches. The scoop has some small dings and dents, but free of rust, and solid.
