This is an antique, hand forged broad axe head. This was rescued from an old barn in Lancaster County Pennsylvania.
It measures approx. 13" long x 8" wide, and is approx. 1-3/8" thick at the butt end. Weight is 7 lbs.
It is in good solid condition as shown in the photos. No cracks or other structural damage noted.
