This is an original, 46" antique wooden snow sled with metal runners, circa 1940's. After extensive research, I believe this is a Sky Plane sled, as it matches the features and characteristics of the other examples that I found, but the graphics have faded away from years of use. This sled is in good condition with fantastic patina, and i believe it could be used as intended. It would also be a beautiful, decorative piece for many years to come. There are no structural breaks and the steering is in working order.
Approx. measurements: The overall length is 46-1/2". The width not including the handle grips is 14-1/2", and the overall width to the outer edges of the handle bar is 24". The height is 6-1/2" .
