Antique Dietz Vesta Railroad Lantern CRR New Jersey with Heavy Base Ring, Original Glass
A Dietz Vesta Railroad Train Lantern from the C.R.R. of New Jersey. This particular lantern includes the original heavy iron ring on the bottom, and the original glass globe. Lantern is embossed "New York USA Dietz Vesta" on the top as well as "C.R.R. of NJ". The glass is embossed with "Dietz Vesta New York USA".
Lamp is in good solid condition as shown in photos, with the exception of the very bottom, which has some rust holes. The glass is nice and clear with no cracks or other damage. The previous owner painted the lantern gray. The wick is missing and it has not been tested.
It measures approx. 7-1/2" across at handle hooks x 6" deep. The height is approx. 11" not including the handle.
