This is an early wooden nail keg barrel, with steel bands around the top and bottom, and 2 twisted wire supports around the center. This fantastic primitive piece would make a great waste can for almost any room in your home or office. Or use it as an umbrella stand in your foyer.
It measures approx. 10" across at the top and bottom, and stands 17" tall.
Keg is in good solid condition, with some check cracks and cosmetic wear, along with dirt and water stains. The steel bands and wire supports are in good condition, as are the boards at the bottom.
This is a nice early nail keg, with endless possibilities!
