Art Deco, Reuben Haley Martele 5 Slip Shade Hanging Light, Consolidated Lamp and Glass Co.

This is a fantastic original, "Martele", 5 light slip shade chandelier, designed by Reuben Haley and manufactured by Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company. Made only from 1926-1931, this wonderful Art Deco, cast iron chandelier is gold plated, with frosted, pastel yellow, "honey" and clear glass, slip shades of a floral design.

Chandelier has been re-wired with new, period style wiring.

The overall measurements are 18" across to the outer edge of the glass shades, and approx. 19" tall from the bottom finial, to the top of the fixture. (not including the top finial, chain, and ceiling canopy) The drop from the ceiling to top of the chandelier is approx. 24", which can easily be shortened by simply removing links from the chain.

CONDITION: Chandelier has been re-wired with correct, period style wiring, and is in good working order. Cast iron is free of cracks, chips, and breaks, with some mild cosmetic wear on the painted surface, consistent with age and previous use. The glass shades are in very nice condition, with only a couple of very minor blemishes, which is only visible upon close inspection. There are no cracks, breaks, or other structural damage. Some mild fading may be present. Overall condition is very good.

This gorgeous and collectible light chandelier, would be a great addition to a vintage house restoration, and would add fabulous, eclectic flair to any home.
