Very nice, stoneware, pottery teapot with two (2) cups. Made in Japan, this pretty little tea set has textured, brown glaze with light brown around edges. Pot has a built in strainer.
Bamboo handle has bendable, coated metal wire ends so it can be removed from teapot for easy cleaning.
Measures approximately 6-1/4" across including spout, and about 4-1/4 across pot only. Teapot is about 3-3/4" tall with lid, about 6-3/4" tall with handle extended.
Cups measure about 3" across x 2-3/8" tall
Pot holds about 3 cups or 24 ounces (720 cc).
Cups hold about 1 cup or 8 ounces (240 cc)
Teapot and cups are in good, vintage condition with no cracks, breaks or crazing noted.
