Antique, 1920's Brass Electric Wall Sconce with an Embossed Art Glass Shade, Art Nouveau, Victorian
This is a wonderful Art Nouveau, brass electric wall sconce from the 1920's, with a embossed art glass shade. Fixture is in good working order, with new, wiring. Features include a switched light bulb socket, allowing the light to be mounted to an existing power source that does not have a wall switch.
Measurements: The overall measurements with the shade attached, are approx. 4-1/2" wide x 11" tall. The projection from the wall to the outer edge of the shade, is approx. 5-1/2". The fitter size for the glass shades is 2-1/4".
Condition: Sconce fixture is in nice condition, free of structural damage and defects. Wiring has been replaced with brand new wiring. The patina on the brass fixture has been preserved as it was when we acquired it. Age appropriate cosmetic wear is present, and may include scuffs, tarnish, and tiny spots of paint splatter. Fixture has been tested, and is in good working order, and ready to install. The glass shade is free of structural damage, cracks, etc. Some generally mild cosmetic wear is present, including finish loss, scratches, scuffs, and other imperfections.
