This is a fantastic, antique brass traveling apothecary gram scale with 9 weights, and the original plush lined travel case. This scale may have been used for in home doctor visits or pharmaceutical use. Scale is sized perfectly for a display piece on you mantel of coffee table, or use it as intended.
Measurements: The overall height to the top of the finial is 4-3/4". The length of the balance beam is 3", and the overall width with the trays in place is approx. 5-1/4 ". The round trays measure 1-5/8" across. The travel case measures 6-1/2" x 5" x 1-1/4".
Scale is in good solid condition, with the original aged patina, and generally light cosmetic wear. There are no cracks, breaks, or other structural damage. The tweezers are missing from the set.
