This is a beautiful, ironstone, transferware platter in the Moss Rose pattern. Made in the late 1800's or early 1900's by Dale & Davis, from The Prospect Hill Pottery Company in Trenton, New Jersey.
Established in 1880, Prospect Hill Pottery manufactured ironstone dinnerware and other products until 1903 when they were sold to Cook Pottery Company.
Platter measures approximately 17-5/8" long x about 11-5/8" wide x 1-5/8" tall.
Platter is in good, vintage condition. There is some wear noted with minor scuffs and scratches consistent with age and previous use. The gold trim around the edge is almost completely worn as seen in above pictures. Transferware pattern is intact with bright colors.
This is a beautiful piece of antique stoneware to use or just for display.
