1940's Machine Age Gooseneck Desk Lamp, Adjustable Height Bankers Lamp

This is a very nice, 1940's, double goose-neck adjustable height desk lamp, with a heavy cast iron base. These lamps are well known as "bankers lamps, as well as student, and piano lamps. The metal shade houses an 11-1/4" florescent light bulb. Features include and an adjustable height double gooseneck, and a convenient power switch on the top of the light shade. Lamp is in good, pre-owned condition, and in good working order. The metal shade, base, and goose-necks, are free of dents and other structural damage. Age appropriate cosmetic wear is present, including scuffs, scratches, and imperfections.
MEASUREMENTS: The base measures about 8-1/2" wide x 5-1/2" deep. The metal shade measures approx. 4" wide x 18" long. The height to the top of the metal shade is approx. 13", depending on how it is adjusted.
