This is antique, heavy iron spear, post top finial. A fantastic piece of architectural salvage.
Finial measures 5-1/2" tall when installed, and 7-1/2" tall including the 2" portion that slides into the top of the 1-1/2" ID pole.
Finial is in good condition, with expected cosmetic wear, surface rust, and dirt. There are no cracks or other structural damage.
