This is an authentic, 1800's "Conestoga" covered wagon jack, consisting of a wooden outer shell, with a hand forged inner gears, as well as a hand forged, twisted iron handle. The 6th photo shows the jack with a 51" Conestoga wagon wheel lifted a few inches off of the floor.
The jack works quite well, moves up and down as it should. The iron components are in good shape, free of structural damage. The wooden portion of the jack is in good condition, with expected cosmetic wear, cracks, etc. I believe there is supposed to be an iron cap or band on the bottom, which is missing. A good, solid piece, perfect for your collection.
Measures approx. 7-1/2" x 3" x 21-1/2" tall.
