A beautiful set of Copeland Spode Earthenware Dishes, set of 24 pieces in the Chelsea Wicker pattern.
Dishes are ivory colored with embossed, basketweave, pattern around the scalloped edge.
Pieces are marked on the bottom with the Copeland Spode ink stamp and many also have the impressed marking as well. All pieces also have impressed date codes including a letter and number and these dishes range from 1936 to 1995.
Six sets which include four pieces, 1 dinner plate, 1 soup bowl, 1 footed cup and 1 saucer.
Included in this set:
6 Dinner Plates measuring 10-1/2" x 1"
6 Bowls 6-1/2" x 1-1/2"
6 Coffee Cups 4-5/8" across including handle, 3-3/4" across top x 2-1/8"
6 Saucers 5-5/8" x 7/8" tall,
All are in good condition with minimal wear. A few pieces have some crazing but no chips, cracks or breaks.
