Lovely, set of 3, vintage, rattan, wicker, nesting geese baskets. Woven baskets, shaped like geese have wooden beaks and wooden eyes. Bamboo handles have bamboo "feathers" that make up the wings. Made by Zhejiang Handicrafts, in the Peoples Republic of China.
Approximate measurements:
Small - 10" long x 6-1/4" wide from wing to wing x 8" tall
Medium - 11-1/4" long x 7" wide from wing to wing x 9-1/2" tall
Large - 13" long x 8" wide from wing to wing x 10-3/4" tall
Baskets are all in good condition with some wear from previous use and age. No holes or breaks or missing pieces noted. As with any unique, handmade item, flaws and imperfections may be noted.
Beautiful, handcrafted baskets would look great with Christmas decor.
