This is a very nice, vintage, Japanese, Ikebana, flower basket. Rattan basket is tightly woven with reinforced top edge. Bottom is reinforced with thicker bamboo strips. Traditional basket used for arranging flowers.
Measures approximately 7" wide at widest point, 6-1/2" across opening x 5" tall not including handle, measures 11-1/2" tall including handle.
Basket is in good condition with minor wear consistent with previous use and age. No holes or breaks or missing pieces noted. As with any unique, handmade item, flaws and imperfections may be noted.
