This is a wonderful set of 2, Victorian brass electric wall sconces from the 1920's, with embossed carnival glass shades. Fixtures are in good working order, with new, period correct wiring. Features include pull chain switched light bulb sockets, allowing the lights to be mounted to an existing power source without an existing wall switch.
Measurements: The overall measurements with the shades attached, are approx. 4-1/2" wide x 10" tall. The projection from the wall to the outer edge of the shades, is approx. 6-1/2". The fitter size for the glass shades is 2-1/4".
Condition: Both fixtures are in condition overall, in good working order, with age appropriate cosmetic wear. Wiring has been replaced with new period correct wiring. The patina on the brass fixtures and shades, has been preserved as it was when we acquired them. Some residual wall paint is present on the edges, as shown in the photos. One of the brass bell fitters has a couple of very small cracks in the side, also visible in the photos. Overall, a very nice pair of original sconces, ready to install and enjoy.
