This is a late 1800's, acid etched glass fitter shade for an early gas - electric combination chandelier or light fixture. The specific shade was used hanging gas lights, chandeliers, and sconces from the late 1800's to about 1915. See the last photo for an example of an early gas chandelier with this glass shade. (chandelier in example was converted to electric)
Shade is in very nice condition, free of cracks, chips, and other damage. Some minor cosmetic wear and imperfections are possible.
Shade measures approx. 7-1/2" across the top edge x 4-1/2" tall. The fitter measurement is 4".
