This promotional figurine was originally sold around 1915 with candy in the barrel. It is a painted glass figure of Charlie Chaplin's famous movie character "the Tramp", standing next to a glass curved staved barrel. The base of the figurine is embossed "CHARLIE CHAPLIN". The bottom of the barrel is marked "GEO. BORGFELDT & CO - NEW YORK - SOLE LICENSEES" and the bottom center of the barrel is marked "PATENT APPLIED FOR". Also marked underneath the figurine "SERIAL NO. 2862".
CONDITION: Very Good vintage condition with most of the original paint. There is no major / structural damage, breaks, cracks, etc.
The glass figurine is 3-3/4" tall. The barrel is 2-1/4" tall. The entire piece is 3" wide and 1-1/2" deep.
