Vintage Town Crier Radio In Good Working Order, Model 380T, by The Guild, 1956

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a 1956 Town Crier, Model 380T, AM/FM Tube Radio, made by The Guild.

It was supposed to be modeled after the type of lamp that the Town Crier would carry as he walked through towns shouting, "Hear Ye, Hear Ye!" before making his announcements.

Condition: The radio is in very good, vintage, used condition with normal wear. No dents, dings, or scratches noted. It was tested and it is in good working order. There is a spot to hook up an antenna on the back for better reception.

Measures approximately 9.25" wide at widest point x 10" deep x 15" tall to top of wood cabinet and 22" tall to top of carrying ring. Door measures 6" wide x 13" tall.

Great conversation piece for any collector of vintage electronics!
