This is a rare very early 1900's Wooden Dovetailed Embalming Fluid Shipping Crate. The graphics that are printed on the crate include: "Beta-Dioxin Re-Concentrated EMBALMING FLUID" and H. S. Eckels & Co. Manufacturing CHEMISTS Philadelphia, Pa. This crate will hold "TWO DOZEN" bottles of embalming fluid, according to the printing on the box.
This crate is in great shape considering its age. There are some normal check cracks and wear, but overall it is very nice old crate with awesome graphics. The box has also been either stained or painted green at some point, but it did not effect the visibility of the graphics.
It Measures 18-1/2" x 12-1/2" x 9" Tall..
