Antique Cast Iron Counter Balance Scale with Weights, General Store Scale, Hardware Scale, Cast Iron Candy Scale
This is a very nice Green Antique Cast Iron Counter Top Balance Scale with the original scoop / tray, and weights - These old scales were used in General Stores, Hardware Stores, Farms, as well as for home use.. This scale includes the 4 weights shown in the photos. (2LB, 1LB, 8oz, and 4oz). It has great patina with the old green paint on the scale, and the antiqued gold finish on the scoop and weights.
CONDITION: Very Good vintage condition - in good working order. Surface scuffs and scratches, and general cosmetic wear and patina is present. There is no structural cracks, breaks, or other damage.
Measurements: The base of the scale measures 11" long x 4 3/4" wide. The overall length with the scoop in place is about 15". The scoop measures 12 1/2" x 7" x 3 1/4" tall.
