Vintage L. HOPKINS Wooden Folding Expanding Gate, Accordion Gate, Old Scissors Gate, Wall Hanging, Pet Gate
This is a nice Wooden, Folding, Expanding Gate. Also called an Accordion or Scissor Gate, manufactured by J. Hopkins. It opens to a total of about 42" wide and can be adjusted to various doorways. Gate is made to be mounted securely to one side of the doorway, with pinch clip that opens to grasp loop on opposite doorway. Mounting hardware is not included. THIS GATE IS BEING SOLD AS A DISPLAY PIECE, AND IS NO LONGER APPROVED AS A CHILD'S SAFETY GATE.
Measurements: When Closed - 8" wide x 32" tall. When it is open to 42" wide, it is 28" tall.
Condition: Gate is in good, previously owned condition, opens and closes without difficulty. There is some damage on the horizontal piece that has the numbers printed on it. (shown in the photos)
Can be used as a gate, or re-purposed as wall decor.. A great, unique way to display pictures!
