Vintage Mid Century Swivel Floor Lamp, Medical Lamp Light with Cast Iron Base and Wooden Handle, 1950's Doctor Floor Lamp
This is a Unique Mid Century Swivel Head Medical Floor Lamp with a Cast Iron Base. The metal light head / reflector shade has a wooden handle that is held in place by swivel "Knuckle" connector, which allows it to be turned and swiveled to the desirable position. It is also is removable, by simply loosening the wing nut that holds it in place. This was likely used in a doctor's office exam room.
It is in very good condition with no structural damage, breaks, etc.. Some cosmetic scuffs, scratches, and general wear are present from normal use and age... A new braided cloth covered has just been installed, so it's in good working order, and ready to plug in and enjoy!
Measurements: The metal lamp "head" measures about 9" across, and 8" deep including the bulb socket. The cast iron base measures 8" across, and the overall height is about 54".
