Antique, Eastlake Style Picture Frame with vintage, French, fashion La Mode Illustree engraving / lithograph / print. Frame is two pieces, with beautiful, dark wood on outer frame with painted gold inner frame.
Hand colored lithograph is signed, Anais Toudouze, a fashion illustrator from the 1800's. It shows two ladies in gorgeous gowns and is marked underneath, Gilquin fils Unp Paris 8. The bottom of the print is marked, La Mode Illustree, Bureaux du Journal 56 rue Jacob Paris.
Measurement: Overall frame is 14-1/2" tall x 12-1/2" wide x 2-1/4" deep. It will accept a photo or print up to 12-1/8" tall x 10-1/8" wide. The visible portion of the picture measures 11-1/2" tall x 9-1/2" wide.
Condition: Engraving is in fair condition with some deterioration along the left side. Frame in good solid condition minor imperfections and wear.
