Fire Department of New Orleans, "A Century of Service" Yearbook, 1891 to 1991. This original yearbook
has a beautiful red / maroon, leather-like cover with a stamped, gold emblem from the New Orleans, Louisiana Fire Department. Book includes stories as well as photographs, in color and black and white, detailing the fire company's 100 year history.
Book measures approximately 12" long x 9" wide x 3/4" thick, and contains 214 pages, plus cover and end pages.
Condition: This book is in very good condition with no missing, loose, bent, or torn pages noted. There is no other writing on any of the pages that I could find. The binding is in great shape with normal wear from use and age. No rubbing on the corners or ends of spine. No sun fading or major damage to the cover, there is one small scuff mark on the lower right corner, as shown in photos. No water damage, must, mold or odor noted.
Great peice of New Orleans firefighting history that would make a great gift for any firefighter!
