The Boyd's Collection Ltd. Wooden Loons Signed J Dudley, Vintage Mini Wood Loon Decoy, J Dudley Decoy
This is a pair of beautiful, hand carved, Wooden Loon, mini decoys. From The Boyd's Collection, Ltd in 1990-1992, both loons are signed, "J. Dudley". These were made in limited numbers, making them very collectible. Sticker on the bottom shows the store where they were originally purchased.
Loon with head turned back, the "Preener", measures approximately 6-1/4" long x 3-1/2" tall x 3/4" wide
Loon with head facing foreward, the "Sentinel", measures about 8-3/4" long (from beak to tail) x 2-3/4" tall x 3/4" wide.
The Preener is in very good condition, no cracks, splits or breaks noted. Original paint is intact.
The Sentinel is in overall good condition, with original paint. The tip of the beak was repaired at some point, please refer to picture #7 above for details. This is not immediately noticeable and this pair of loons would look nice on a shelf together!
