This is a very nice, vintage, weaving loom shuttle made into a primitive, rustic candle holder. Made of wood with metal ends and metal parts inside to hold the thread bobbin. Shuttle is marked, "Southern 2082 1, 92" on one end and "Tempered" on the other end with a small, engraved, picture of a blacksmith with hammer and anvil.
Measures approximately 19" long x 1-1/2" wide x 2-1/8" tall. Measures 3-3/4" tall including wooden, candle holder block.
In very good previously owned condition with normal wear expected from use and age. No cracks, splits or major scratches in the wood.
Would look great on entryway, console table or bookshelf!
