Vintage STAR Twist Mercerized Thread Cabinet, 4 Drawer Steel Sewing Cabinet, Parts Cabinet, Hardware Storage Cubbies

This is a very nice old metal STAR Twist Mercerized Thread Cabinet with awesome graphics and clear glass drawer fronts to display the thread colors.

This cabinet has 4 drawers, each with 10 divided rows that hold about 14 spools of thread per row. The total capacity per drawer is approximately 140 spools, or 560 spools for all 4 drawers. There are slots in the bottom fronts of the drawers for each row of spools, where the thread would hang for easy access.

The overall unit measures 16" wide x 14" deep, x 8-1/2" tall.

CONDITION - This cabinet is in very good condition with awesome graphics on the front and one side.. The other side and back have graphics as well, but have been painted over by a previous owner. The front and side graphics were painted over as well, but at some point the paint was removed, revealing the original lettering and star logo. The glass fronts are free of cracks, breaks, and scratches, and the metal cabinet and drawer frames are good and solid with no structural or other major damage. All of the drawers slide in and out with ease, and can easily be removed for cleaning or loading spools of thread.

This is a fabulous old cabinet that looks beautiful when filled with colorful spools of thread, and it is good and solid so it could be used as intended.
