This is an early 1900's Ansonia 7 day iron mantel clock, key wind with 1/2 hour and hour chimes. It includes the original pendulum and key. The movement is marked "Ansonia Clock Co., USA, New York Pat June 18, 1882". The key is also marked "Ansonia Clock Co."
This old clock is in outstanding working condition, and keeps perfect time. There are no cracks, chips, or breaks present, only a few light cosmetic scuffs and imperfections from normal use. The rear access door hinge has broken at some point, but the door stays in the closed position without any issues.
It measures approximately 9" wide x 5-1/2" deep x 9-1/2" tall.
