Black Wooden Brush Holder with Scottie Dog, King New York, Syroco Wood Scottie Dog, Divided Box, Clothing Brush Holder, 1950's
Scottie dog, black, wooden, brush holder with original label, "King, New York" on the back. Originally made to hold two (2) clothing brushes, the painted black, wooden holder has two compartments. On the front is a white Scottie dog that looks like it may be made of Syroco wood.
Measures approximately 4-1/4" long x 2" wide x 4" tall.
Larger section measures about 2" long x 1-3/8" wide
Smaller section measures about 1-1/4" x 1-3/8" wide
Scottish Terrier measures about 3" x 3"
Holder is in good to very good vintage condition. Original paint intact on Scottie dog with minor wear. No structural damage, cracks or breaks noted. A couple of minor dents, scuffs, and imperfections noted consistent with previously use and age.
Would be perfect for pens / pencils, grooming tools or your dog brush!
