Hubley, 1950's, "Sure Shot", toy cap gun. Made of die cast metal. Metal grips have embossed steer head on both sides, and metal star in circle. Barrel opens to insert caps. Takes roll caps.
Both sides of the frame are marked, "Sure Shot". Trigger has the number "10" embossed on the left side. Inside of barrel on the right side is marked, "Hubley, Lancaster, PA, Made in the U.S.A."
Measures approximately 7" long x 3-1/2" tall x 1-1/8" wide.
Toy gun is in good condition cosmetically, with normal wear from use and age. No rust noted, there is some mild oxidation and tarnishing mostly on and near the hammer. Barrel opens but then sticks open and you have to manually move spring to close barrel. The small metal piece that held the spring is broken off. Trigger is broken off and is resting in the gun. Gun does not fire.
Good restoration piece or use for parts or display.
"This replica gun contains an orange plug as required by many State's Laws and Etsy's selling Policy."
Minor imperfections may be present. See photos for complete details. Item sold as is.
