This is a very unusual antique window sash with the original arch top / rounded glass. This window is the top half of the upper sash, from a double hung window that was removed from a Psychiatric Hospital in Chester County Pa. It features 5 rounded panes of glass, creating a "sunburst" pattern with the wooden mullions. It has red and white paint on the outside, and white on the inside. This is a rare opportunity to purchase such a unique window, that has stood the test of time, and remains in pretty good condition for its age.
It measures 33" wide x 17-1/2" tall x 1.75" thick.
CONDITION: It is in pretty good condition with no major wood rot or decay. The glass is free of cracks, chips, and other structural damage. There is old paint on areas of the glass, and some paint loss, check cracks, and other cosmetic wear on the wooden frame.
