Sandstone Mexican Pottery, Pajaros Gto Mex, Pottery Pot with Lid and Bowl, Folk Art, Hand Painted Pottery, Butterfly and Flower
Pretty little, unglazed, rough textured sandstone pot with lid and matching dish from Mexico. Marked, "Pajaros Gto MEX", pot and lid are hand painted with butterflies and flowers in blue, green, brown and yellow. Dish has a blue flower and is marked, "Mex" and a circle with something I am unable to read. Inside of pot and lid are glazed.
Pot measures approximately 3" across widest part x 2-1/4" tall without lid, 2-3/4" tall with lid.
Bowl measures about 5" across x 1" tall.
All pieces are in very good, previously owned condition, no chips, cracks or breaks noted.
Would be great on a dresser for keys, jewelry, change, or whatever!
