Davy Crockett Wallet, Walt Disney Collectible, "American Frontierman", Vinyl Wallet, Coin Purse, 1950's, Pioneer
This is a vintage, Walt Disney's, Davy Crockett Wallet from the 1950's. Front and back show an embossed picture of Davy Crockett in his raccoon fur, "coonskin" hat with his gun, against a backdrop of a map of the United States. "Indian Fighter" is embossed on the bottom right corner.
Inside has a pocket for bills, two (2) slots for cards and a snap shut coin pocket.
Measures approximately 8-3/4" across when open x 3-1/4" tall.
Wallet is in good condition with normal wear for a vintage, previously owned item. Corners are all intact. Great graphics intact on front and back. The vinyl around the snap stud is torn, but snap still works. There is also a tiny hole on the front of one of the card holders. Some scuffs, dirt and smudges are noted but no other rips, tears or structural damage. Nice, vintage wallet!
There were several Davy Crockett wallets made, however, this specific wallet, with the US map background, is much more uncommon than the others and I was only able to find one or two.
Great for any collector of Western Memorabilia or vintage toys!
