This is a genuine, original, vintage, 1949 or 1950, V8 Ford, chrome, grill / grille, bullet emblem with attached ring.
Made for a Ford sedan with an 8 cylinder engine, this bullet nose emblem sat in the center of the cars grill. This model, with a center grille bullet was only made in 1949 and 1950 and it is difficult to find these parts in good condition.
Ring measures about 11-1/8 across the bottom x 4-1/4" tall
Emblem measures 7" across
Ring and emblem together measure about 6-1/4" tall
CONDITION: Emblem and ring are in pretty good pre-owned condition with minor scuffs and scratches as expected with authentic, vintage auto parts. There is one small ding in the bottom point of the emblem and a scratch on the right lower quadrant of the ring. Mild surface rust mostly on the underside.
