Blenko Hand Blown Amethyst Glass Vase, Wayne Husted # 607 Purple Vase, Square Zig=Zag Blown Out Glass Design Vase, Flower Vase
This is a beautiful, vintage, hand blown, amethyst, glass vase made by Blenko Glass Co. The unique, square shaped vase has a blown out, zig-zag pattern that was designed by Wayne Husted. Husted designed glass pieces for Blenko Glass Co. from 1953-1963.
This original vase, numbered 607, could be found in Blenko's 1961 catalog, and is very hard to find now. It was made in several different colors, but I was not able to find another, # 607 vase in purple.
Bottom of the vase is marked, "Blenko".
Approximate Measurements: 3-1/2" across top, 2-1/2" across base, x about 9-3/4" tall.
In very good, pre-owned, vintage condition with very minor wear. No cracks, chips or scratches noted.
This one of a kind, collectible vase is perfect for every day use on a side table with fresh cut flowers, or on your dining table, as an elegant centerpiece!
