Ye Olde Cottage Teapot, P & K, Price Kensington Cottage Ware English Pottery, Made in England
Vintage, "Ye Olde Cottage" teapot, made in England in the 1950's by Price Kensington. Teapot is shaped like a quaint, English, cottage with thatched roof.
Bottom is engraved, "Ye Olde Cottage, P & K, Made in England". Blue oval stamp reads, "Price Kensington" but is difficult to read.
Teapot measures about 8-1/2" from spout to handle x 4-1/4" wide x 4-1/4" tall without lid (5-3/4" tall with lid)
Base measures about 5-5/8" x 4-1/4"
Holds about 3 cups or 24 ounces (720 cc)
Teapot is in good, vintage condition with no cracks, chips or breaks noted. There is some crazing, as seen in pictures, but teapot is still usable or would look great as a display piece.
