Vintage, pick head, fireman axe. Pick head is mounted on a 3-5 lb, Flame Seal 581, curved, wooden handle that measures 36 inches long. Axe head and handle are painted red.
The head measures 12" long from cutting edge to pick end x about 1-1/4" thick, with 4 3/4" cutting edge.
Pick measures 4 1/4".
Handle is 36" long.
Weighs about 7 pounds total.
CONDITION: Good overall condition as displayed in the photos. Cutting edge does have a few nicks and chips as seen in pictures. There are a few small areas of paint loss and very mild surface rust on the axe head. No cracks or splits noted on the wood handle.
