Top of lid stamped, "Happy New Year" into wood
Bottom of box stamped, "Factory No. 9, 1st Dist., Pa, 25" into wood
Paper sticker intact on side and bottom says, "Factory No. 503, 9th District, Pennsylvania"
Inside lid has beautiful intact picture of flowers and folding fan saying, "Happy New Year".
Copyrighted, 1885, by Schumacher & Ettlinger, N.Y.
Original lace doily intact around inside edges.
Attached lid closes completely, no warping.
This beautiful cigar box is in really good condition considering age.
