Wooden Nutcracker, Soldier, Traditional Christmas Decoration, Painted Wood Nutcracker King with Jeweled Crown
Vintage, wooden, painted nutcracker King / Soldier with jeweled crown, on round, wooden base.
Nutcracker is painted red, white, black and gold except for the face which is natural wood, stained lightly. He holds a gold staff in one hand and bilateral shoulders have gold epaulettes. Hair and beard are made with white fur. Lever in back moves mouth open and closed.
Measures about 5-3/4" across shoulder to shoulder x 4" front to back and stands about 14-1/4" tall.
Base measures about 4-1/2" x 1" tall
Nutcracker is in good, previously owned condition with minor wear noted. One of the red jewels on the side of the crown appears to have moved slightly during manufacturing and is slightly lower than the others as seen in photo #10 above.
This imperfection does not take away from the integrity of the nutcracker, and it is still a nice display piece for your holiday fireplace mantel, bookshelf or side table.
