This is a beautiful, vintage, 1940's, plastic wire, crochet / woven purse. Body of purse is red, plastic cord with tan plastic wire on the sides and red and tan striped trim. Fold over flap tucks into strap on front of purse. Two handles are attached to front and back of the body of the purse. Inside is lined with satin fabric. There is no tag or label noted.
In the early 1940's, during WWII, metal and leather were reserved for the war effort so different, sometimes unusual materials were used to make purses. This handbag has no metal snaps, clasps or hardware and is made entirely of plastic with fabric lining.

Length - 9"
Width - 1" however, sides are folded in and can open to about 2"
Height - 8"
Purse is in very good, vintage, previously owned condition. No rips, tears, or stains noted on exterior or interior of bag.
